I see forum members looking for someone in their area wanting other members to look at cars for them. I just wanted to say that if any member in my area ever needs that type assistance, I would be glad to help out....Randy

Thanks for the posting. How far away are you from Newnan, GA...? Also how familiar are you with a 69 conv?
There is a gentleman that is "interested" in purchasing our vacation home in Lake Hartwell (GA/SC border). He entertained the idea of cash + a '69 conv...that is "restored". Oh, 4spd, factory air, but missing the orig engine. It's a fuel inj 350 from a 1982 model. Hurts value, huh?
Anyhow, it's not a done deal by any means...he has yet to view my property --suppose to this week. We shall see if things move fwd or not.
Brian....beauty is in the eyes of the beholder....lol....I have a 68 right now with a built 350/350..Iam in the process of buying back the original 327/350 ...Most people you will talk to, on here or anywhere, want that original engine and Tranny....But if you liked this 69 woth NOM , thats your business....Personally, I wouldnt like it...however you could always find a date,code correct engine...does it have the original Tranny....if you can get the trimm tag from it, I can decipher it for you...what color and interior..
i have checked out a few on long island and am also able to do it its just great that the forum members are always looking to help out others, just keep up the great work fellow members
I had a buddy who does concours restorations go with me to look at a 70, when the cover came off i was ready to write the check[18000] I like the car, 300 hp 350 orig, 4 spd, ps pb, with the big block hood, nice body, orig bonding strips? maybe a new surround?nice donnybrook green, green leather, It does have a rusty/scaly frame, as well as a core support/saddle to be replaced, the engine and trans have never been out, 52k, so it could use new gaskets and seals,and a good detail, so many little issues, I walked away, and it will probably be gone if I were to **** or get off the pot, it is the car in my avatar as I thuaght this deal was done, help me out as I have until the 29 th of may or the capitol one deal is void. gary V.
