Independent inspection -services

Hi!

I'm buying a C3 from the States and I wish to know a good and fast service (independent inspection -service) which could check it out before I buy it.

My intentions was to use ebays independent inspection, but it seems they don't check out cars older than 1980.. and the one I'm going to buy is 79..

The car I'm going to buy is located crestview, FL.

It may be helpful to all of us if you fill out your profile and list what city and state you are from at a minimum. You may have an inspection service in your backyard that you don't know about, but one of the CF members does know about and could send you to them. Since you do not list a city/state of where you are from, you can go to hemmings.com and look up an inspection service there. BTW, a reputable inspection service will inspect a car for you regardless of the year and model of the car. Whoever you have spoken to that told you no one inspects cars older then 1980 doesn't know what they are talking about and I would not use them. Good luck!

If a member can't help there are inspection services available for older cars.

You can call SGS tomorrow and ask for their consumer car inspection division. I think it costs about $150 and they do older vehicles.

the car I was looking for was sold before I got an inspection for it.. but thanks anyway guys for your help!
