This is a numbers matching 72 with 120,000 or so miles. It is set up as a SCCA BSP AutoX car. 10 times Wichita region Champion, 5 Times Salina region Champion 3 time Midwest Division Champ including 2007. This car has been to the SCCA National Championships 6 times. It was the only C-3 competting in BSP the last three years. It is well sorted out and handles beautifully. It will run on an AutoX course with a Z06!
The Engine is the orginal block, set up as a 1970 LT1 with an Alum intake and headers with 2 1/2 inch custom exhaust exiting out the back. Auto 400 tranny rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago with shift kit and 2800 Chance custom stall converter. 411 gear. Runs low 13's in 1/4 mile. Paint is good except for the drivers side 1/4 panel where a decal pulled the paint off. Interior is good, newer carpet, the original seats were recovered in leather and come with the car along with the Recaro's in it now. 3 sets of wheels, 17X9 1/2 TT 2's 16X9 1/2 CCW's and 15X8 Wire wheels in not very good shape. I have the original heads, intake, exhaust, and Air conditioning. The suspension is stock with all newer poly bushings, 800 lb front springs with custom single adjust Konis'. Rear has a TRW composite spring with dual adjust Penski shocks.
Seriously interested party send an email to Jimh_mic@msn.com and I can answer other questions.
I saw this car at my very first autocross (with my '77) in a Boeing parking lot in Wichita. That was way back on March 14, 2004 when I was attending Kansas State. I haven't looked in the C3 for sale section in ages so it's just dumb luck that I found this today! This is one gorgeous car, I think it is largely responsible for my obsession with CCW wheels and the red/chrome bumper combination. Someone will be very lucky to claim this one! I doubt I will be in the market before it is sold (graduating in 2 weeks) but I will keep my eyes on it just in case!

Sorry; I haven't checked this blog for a while. I'd still sell the car the trailer does not come with it. The car doesn't need anything to keep Auto Xing. I have the rear suspension out now..just checking things out but putting it back together. Also fixed an oil leak in the oil pan and put on a new starter.
