F/S.. 1977, rare color, low miles, mostly original
1977 Corvette. 350, auto. only 80,000 miles..deluxe black leather interior with P/ windows, P/steering, P/brakes. Original paint-- code 83 Corvette dark red. 1 of 3400 made. Paint is shiny and is a good ten footer but has chips and scratches from age..Car has a very nice original body with no signs of repair or damage . The frame is also very clean with no rust or scaling. The car was garage kept for most of its life until this year..Recently received a full brake kit and master cylinder, carb rebuild, alternator and coolant flush. It runs and drives very well and is smooth on acceleration. The motor is stock and has the factory style exhaust. It has not been modified or hot rodded. The only thing that has really been changed is the radio/CD player and that works..Has the optional 15X8 Corvette aluminum wheels with older 60's series tires. The car would benefit from new tires. The leather interior is in very nice condition. The seats have no tears and the door panel and dash are not cracked. Does not anything mechanically. This is a great driver Corvette that is fun to drive, looks good, and is inspected..PRICE IS $8500. Please pm me if you are interested in the car. Thanks a lot.
North NJ. its in my profile but i guess i should have put it in there. "SUGAR SCOOP" hhaha I havent heard that expression in a while! yea its a decent car for the money..thanks.
You know...that sure is a nice car for someone who would like to get into a C3 for low $. What can you buy these days for $8.5K that would be a great weekend toy, not to mention an attention getter. I don't see too many 74 to 77's around my area, especially that look that nice and also original! I wouldn't even worry about the tires, (but you did disclose the information and that's always a good thing) to me, tires are a personal preference anyway.
Good luck with the sale.

Got any pictures of the underside, is the frame and birdcage free of rust?
I don't doubt your word or the car, it does look very clean. But I'm in Texas and need all the info I can get. Any extra pictures would help.
Thanks.

no pics of the underside. but it is very nice. if you want a reference you can pm nassau66427 i sold him a vette a while back and he can tell you how i was and how the car was I sold him. There is no rust on the frame at all and the windsheild posts look very nice as well. It was a garaged car for most of its life and its pretty evident. clean underhood etc...anyway if your really interested maybe you can have some one inspect it..
***slk230red thanks for the kind words. Yes its nice for a starter vette. too many people come donw on the 74-77 cars but thats the way it is. they are corvettes too. whoever buys it will get a kinda cool car...makes me wanna paint my white car!! this color is different......thanks again...

I was there when the '74's to '77's came out and let me tell you, if you were driving a chrome bumper Vette, they made you feel like you had a Model T. Rubber bumpers were THE thing. I still think they are under priced and still a great looking car... perfect value for those looking for fixer uppers or something to start with to have a C3.
I almost traded my '71 Conv.for a '77 Coupe in 1977, but I just couldn't part with my '71....I still have it.
I'm sure your car will be nice for someone that's looking in the 8-9K price range.
