C3 Rear End Blues

I have an 80 that I purchased last Feb. Rear end leaked real bad so my shop here said they could get a rebuilt from La. Well, they put that in along with one new yoke and one reconditioned yoke and it made more noise than my old one. Most noticeable when coasting up to a stop sign. I complained about the noise and they got another one from the same supplier in LA. I have a little over a hundred miles on this one and it is making noise as well. It whines at higher speeds when you take your foot off the gas and also has dull metallic noises at low speed. The mechanic that put it in said to give it a couple hundred miles. This was an expensive repair and I just don't know what to do anymore. All U Joints have been replaced as well as wheel bearings. Any ideas as to what I can do at this point??? Wrong section try tech, But I can tell you that you need to have it rebuilt properly by someone like GTR1999 Gary.

In the meantime try throwing in another bottle of posi additive. Might help and do some figure eights in a parking lot. Good luck.
