Do you have a rough idea of what it would cost to ship to Western NY?

Can you provide more information about the crate motor? Is the paint base coat/clear coat? Could you send more pictures to mark.harralson@intel.com?
Thanks

ya know this car has been for sale for like 2 plus months. have you tried any other means of selling it like www.usedcorvettesonline.com or one of the corvettes for sale sites? obviously its a nice car but it should have sold by now. you should expand a little. so what if you have to pay 20$ somewhere to list an ad. Those sites have a different group of people.... the forum has mostly the same group day in and day out. i am one of them.. i feel bad seeing the car come up over and over again- it would have sold already give it a try....good luck...

the question was: have you tried any OTHER means of selling it like www.usedcorvettesonline.com or one of the corvettes for sale sites? there you WONT GET ALL THE picture collectors and the same questions-- you get more serious buyers. but like you said ur not really trying to sell it anyway so.......just keep it....

I think you have missed the point.. Im not the one that needs to chill. I listed my car. Then I get a dozen picture collectors wanting more pictures that I posted. Then a guy tells me to list it somewhrere else. Im not defencive. Ive received several emails from places to advertise my car (for a fee) and I passed. I stated a few posts back that Im not in any hurry to sell my car, but Im still offering it for $10k. Nothing defencive about that except for the fact that several guys seem to use my thread to run up their post count. So far, the ONLY guys that have tried to help me have communicated by PM. They have really been a GREAT HELP.

I can't believe this beauty hasn't sold yet.
I'd vote "keep it" and enjoy the **** out of it!

SOLD! I flew up there from Texas over the weekend and fell in love with the car. It is going to be shipped down later this week. Pictures didn't do the car justice and I can't wait for it to get down here to Texas.

Default Sold It Sold It Sold It!

Thats correct guys. My 80 Corvette will be heading to Texas. My buyer flew into the Medford Oregon Airport and took a 5 min drive, stopped for lunch, then cruised to the bank, completed the transaction and it was back to the airport. Just that easy, just that quick. I still get to look at it sitting in my garage, but it will soon be loaded onto a transport and headed to Texas. Im now officially in the market for my new VERT! Picture below of the new owner and his NEW TOY, CF screen name "thejuggernaut" .. I only had my cell phone camera so it isn't real clear.
