I am in need of another toy. Owned a C4, C5 and C6. On the lookout for those too but have never had a C3 of my own so thought I would see what's out there. If I had my way, it would be a blk/blk 80-82 with a high performance engine.
However, I am open to almost anything. What I do not want is anything with a red or white exterior, anything with a red interior, major project car, or anything that can't be had for $12k or less.
Doesn't have to be perfect but I do expect an honest description. Would prefer it to be local enough to me in NC that I could look at ahead of time but not married to that concept. Lets see what you have.

I always thought that all Corvettes should be RED, Yellow, or Black!

Although it's "kinda" red, this car would be hard for me to pass up if I were in the market for a C3. I've seen it many times, and he's done a great job of bringing this one back:

Thanks for the info topless. I'm going to pass on it for right now. I have it narrowed down to just a couple but if anyone has a black/black 1980 car, that is what I am focusing on if they want to get the info to me before I commit to one. Hopefully will be owning one within the next week or so tops.

How about a black '73?
I have a black on black '73 with leather sets and auto trans with 400 sbc in place of original 350. I have done extensive body on frame work over the last 2 1/2 years just for my entertainment during the winter months. Send me an e-mail address and I will send you pics and a list of all the repairs/upgrades that I have made. The car is mechanically solid and looks great. Some cosmetics could be done if you were so inclined and the radio is marginal. I've had many compliments, but I have two ('71 LT1) and I would like to move the '73 so I can shop for a C6!
