Default WTB: C3 Vette

I am brand new to this forum, and was referred by a member of a different forum, who said this was the place to be and the place to get the info. I have $7,000 to spend, and am looking for a C3, preferably a 4spd and also with t-tops. I'm not looking for the rarest breed, I'm only 18 and have the rest of my days to pick up a rare vette. Let me know what you got, and also any education and information that can be offered is also appreciated. Thanks,
Brent

I've got one that runs pretty dang strong. Needs paint and interior though. Dunno if you're looking for a finished ride or what.

i'm looking for something thats finished already, good paint, good interior and good engine... i mean if the paint has some scratches or chips, or if the carpet is ripped and a little dirty, no big deal. im located in grand rapids michigan, so im looking for something closer..in the surrounding states at max...7 hours away

How far is connecticut from where you live? you could make it a vacation, see historic mystic and new london, visit the two biggest casinos in the country. Joe

I have a 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition for sale in excellent shape. The link below is where I have it listed, photos, price, description, etc. It is more than you say you have, but it is ready to drive. Give it a look.

Good luck finding a car. I bought my Vette was I was 16 (5 yrs ago) with about $8K cash. Found one for $7,500 including taxes so your not that far off. I would suggest that you just keep saving while looking and you will eventually find one that you like. When you find one....keep it! I sold mine to get a big block 69 Nova thats in show condition but I don't drive it because of the condition that its in. I miss having my Vette every day. Looking to buy another... you'll find something soon enough. Don't rush
