I'm selling my 1976 Corvette. $7500.00. Its a non original motor good 10' driver. It needs an interior though. I put a new rear spring, new calipers brake shoes and new shocks all away around. The car is in Frisco, Texas. I just don't have the time anymore with a new job that requires travel and my sons playing football. It is a decent car that needs a little TLC.
Thanks
Am I asking too much? I'll take $6500.00 if anybody is interested.
When you get more pictures of your car, I would appreciate it if you would send some to me. What all does the interior need? Does it need everything, or just capet and upholsery?
It's an auto and it needs a full interior. The original is there and cleaned up, but the dash and door panels are cracked, the carpet is in need of replacement and the leather seats are ripped. I have seat covers them now so I can drive it. The pillar post are cracked and the weather stripping is in bad shape.
From what I can gather from the numbers on the block, it is out of a 1972 cab. I didn't have enough knowledge or smarts (I was just excited to be buying another Corvette)to check when I bought the car but the guy that sold it to me said it was the original engine. I started to question that after I purchased the car and through some research realized it was not suppose to be painted chevy blue. I do not know how many miles are on the engine.
The only time I have noticed it leaking is when I wash it. Other than that it has never leaked through the gaskets. I did notice water on the floor after washing it but I think it came thru the side vent on the passanger side near the floor. I think there is suppose to be a water diverter under the hood at the windsheild wiper bay and it is bad. From what I can tell the birdcage is in good shape. The car is orinially from Las Vegas so I assuming the car rarely came in contact with alot of water. The frame is in good shape.

I cant stand people who poopoo on a for sale thread but you asked so I will give my opinion. Yes I believe it is priced slightly too high. It is a 76, auto, NOM, needs basically a full interior and all weatherstripping is shot. So it needs a few thousand in work and it will still be an NOM 76 auto. I am by no means an expert, this is just an educated guess by data I have collected here and elsewhere. IF and that is a big IF the rest of the car is in good shape, meaning paint, body mounts, drive train, miscellaenous accessories I would "guesstimate" the car is worth $4000-$5000 as is.
Please take into consideration I AM NOT AN EXPERT by any stretch of the imiagination. Just been following prices. Now if there are more issues than what you have listed it would only be worth even less than what I stated IMO. Whatever happens good luck with sale.
