No the dealer is offering to buy mine back - at 100% of my receipts. This gives me $64,000 to go buy another one.


So = Got anything with matching numbers 454 for sale?

I will leave this post up for another day - I will entertain offers of numbers matching Big Blocks.

I would also consider a 70/71 Olds 442 Vert

I would also consider a 70/71 Camaro Z28, Yenko or Bib Block

All must be a convertible with documentation.

Corvette For Sale

1972 is same as 1971

1972 Corvette Convertible, 454 cu. inch engine (LS-5), 4-Speed, one and only original owner, all numbers match, original bill of sale, protect-o-plate, owners manual, tank sticker, all receipts, etc. Red paint with white soft top and black interior. All original equipment except headers, side pipes and tires. Original and unused spare tire still in car. Air pump, xmanifold, jack, jack tools are available. Only 10,000 miles on original LS-5 engine since internally modified for performance improvements. This is one of approximately 380 Big Block convertibles with a 4-speed transmission manufactured during the 1972 model year. Excellent condition. Beautiful car. Valued at $39,995. firm. Will send pictures by eMail since I never learned how to post them on the forum.
