Does anyone have advise on cd players that can be put in a C3 without cutting up the dash? I hate to pay what they want for the oe looking replacements. Thanks again and again, Tim

I just bought a new panel and measured and cut. I have it up for sale at the following link. Click on it and you can see a side view of the stereo. Worked out really good. Not hard at all.

A CD player will not fit a C3 dash without cutting. These cars were all produced before the advent of CDROM at a time when no one considered a wider panel might be necessary in the future.

I would advise you never cut an OEM C3 bezel; good ones are getting harder to find and are expensive. If you have to cut something, buy a reproduction bezel and cut it. Pack the OEM away for sale time. A potential buyer may want that OEM bezel.

All the aftermarket providers carry units which will install in the C3 dash without cutting. For CD, you will probably be looking at a remote changer with only the power head in the dash.
