Default FS: 1971 convertible - lots of pics

1971 convertible for sale.
Mileage: 130K
Location: Thomasville, Ga. (30 miles north of Tallahassee, Fl.)
Engine: 350/270 numbers matching
Options: PW (new motors), PB (rebuilt w/newer calipers), PS (new control valve), Tilt-tele (new 14” mahogany steering wheel) original 15” steering wheel included, Tinted glass, A/C (works perfect w/ late model C3 blower motor and fan installed, plus new C4 blower motor/fan included; new A/C duct seals, heater core bypass valve installed).
Transmission: Automatic 200R4 Bowtie overdrive; 2100rpm at 70 mph
Exterior: Mille Miglia Red; no stress cracks; a few touched up chips; no accident body/frame; original color was Ontario Orange; new tan Robbins convertible top included-older white top mounted; original tinted windshield and door glass. Headlights and wipers work. Luggage rack include but not mounted
Interior: original Dark Saddle color; No cracks on dash, new interior (seats rebuilt/welded and reinforced w/ new seat bottom plates, new foam, new leather-like covers), new center console, new carpet. new door panels, new seatbacks, new rear compartment surround and doors, new Corvette floormats, new stereo (240 watts-plays mp3, WMA WAV CD, CDR, and CDRW, w/front aux. input for portable player and new 4 speakers-2 three way plate 4X6's in the footwells and two 5-way 6X9's in boxes in the rear (original gauge cluster bezel included); new door opening controls, new interior door handles, new window felts; Sound deadening(Fatmat-like dynomat) and heat shield (Frost King) installed under new carpet.
Mechanical: Everything except the gas gauge works. Most fiber optics work. All lights and turn signals work. New steering gear box, new shocks, new window felts, brakes and bearings rebuilt, front center grill mounted (front license bracket included), new heater core,
Condition: No frame or pillar rust; doesn’t burn oil; steering is tight; drive anywhere and get good gas mileage.
I do not have the window sticker, etc. I haven’t looked for the build sheet on the tank.

Rusty...congrats on your purchase and I definitely believe you will be very happy. I bought mine off a corvette forum member here and am still jumping for joy and the easiest check I ever written in my life.

I responded to your other thread in the general section.

btw...I am originally from Destin and visit the folks often and so maybe we will cross paths in the vettes as I do frequent Pensacola a lot when I go up there for a week or two at a time to get away from the busy Miami stuff.

Thanks guys. I haven't gotten an OK back from him yet, but I am confident from our earlier conversations. It has only been 20 mins since I posted that. I actually looked at this car a couple of weeks ago after he posted it in a WTB thread here on the forum. I sometimes think about things too long and miss out. I had plenty of time to think this over and it still sounds great. Since he started this thread today, I had to go ahead and make my final decision. I can't wait for it to be in my driveway.
