Default FS 76 L48 Matching Numbers

SOLD!

I bought this car about two months ago on Ebay, to be honest I had not learned enough to know what I was looking at and got ripped off. I will have to post pics later as I can not access any of the photo host sites from here. I can email pics that I have. I payed $6300 with shipping, have spent another 2K and now realize I really would rather have a manual transmission car. I have replaced the Power steering pump (and pulley), the Harmonic Balancer, recovered the seats, installed a new Edelbrock Carb and Intake. What I know it needs, the floor pans are rusty, frame looks good, needs a new set of tires, needs paint. I will take pics of any area requested and send pics. Runs and drives great (a lot better now than it did when I got it home). New exhaust (No Cats). Drop me a line if interested, asking 4500, but will take offers. I have my 77 Vette now so need to sell this one.

Yeah I know, not what I wanted either, but not going to shell out money for correct wheels and tires when I am trying to sell it. If we want to get picky, try to find that color of green listed anywhere... Wife loves it, but I can not find it as ever having been a Corvette Color. Paint code is 33 (Dark Green)

A lot depends on what happens when I look at MadMikee's car tomorrow. If I like what I see then probably not looking for a trade... Of course beyond that is the little problem of you being in California and me being in Maryland.

Default good looking vette

Yo, I would have bit had I seen this car for sale. I happen to like the looks of it. Unfortunately I had a car accident and am now partially disabled and selling my cars rather than buying at this stage of life. i have a nice Silver /Red 79 4 speed with 61k miles i'm going to be selling soon, really good shape. so i paid a long dollar when I bought two years ago. I paid $15,500 hoping to get my money back when i go to sell. we'll see how I do. Again, I like the looks of your Vette - I am not a purist just always bought what I liked.

Make me an offer. I bought a Crossfire for my wife so sort of need to sell a few of my toys. got a spare set of t-tops last week but have not been able to check them out, they go with the car, may even try to color match and paint them.

OK, someone out there has got to have something to say about this car. The only major problem it has (other than the fact that it is an automatic L48) is that it needs floorboards. I am still driving the car regularly, runs and drives great and gets compliments daily even though it needs an updated paint job. I have over 9K in it because I did not research, but it has to be worth 4500 to someone out there!

Why does the hood emblem say L82?

Because someone before me either changed the hood or just put the L82 on there and I have not felt like taking it off. (Guessing a hood change) I checked the numbers it's a L48.

Last shot at making offers, only asking 4500, I have close to 9K invested. If no offers I take the new seats, carb, intake etc off and put it on the auction site.
