1972 T-top w/ original ppwk, 85K miles
Hello everyone...I am new to this board and looking to sell my fathers Vette. My challenge is pricing it. ..Would appreciate any comments on the price-range I should be opening with...i.e. 25K, 30K, 35K or what you consider a good range...I realize its tough to be specific, just want to get going in the right ball park. Below are the details..and I will be able to post pic's a little later.
1972 T-Top, 2nd owner. Have original ppwk, invoice, tank sticker and all maintenence records for the life of car, 85K miles.
454 LS5, numbers matching 4 Speed, Engine is very clean, but not showroom condition. Power brakes, A/C. Original chrome bumpers. Nothing major has been replaced on car. It is rust free w/ no accidents, and drives very well.
Interior is Black and in excellent condition..no dash cracks etc...
Excellent Red paint job (8K) less than 2 years old, although original color is classic white (#972).
Original rally wheels, and tires have decent tread left..
Original owner bought car in Mid-West, and car currently resides in California.
Any help would be appreciative....thank you in advance...

price
I would go with 30000. BJ auction this week is driving prices up, Spring is coming, paperwork with car, RED is a top color, and the BIGBLOCK. I would start at 30 and you can always come down. I think a safe way is to Ebay the car for the 40 buck insertion fee with a reserve you want and see what happens. JMHO Good Luck
