FS: 1971 LT-1 coupe (build sheet, 43K miles)

Hi all - 1971 LT-1 coupe. Bought it in July '03 and have driven it maybe 200 miles (80 were on the trip home). 43,400 miles, all #s matching car (except carb) with the Chevrolet Order Sheet/tank sticker and copies of previous owner titles. I am the fifth owner. Sunflower Yellow, Black mesh interior with M21 4 speed, rare factory 4:11 gears, power steering and brakes, and not much else as far as options go. TI was removed at some point in favor of points ignition. I have too many cars to give this one the attention it deserves. Brand new Mighty Demon 650 carb (MIGHT be able to get original Holley). Runs like a monster when it feels like it, but needs fine tuning and some troubleshooting for an electrical or vacuum advance issue. It starts and runs great for a minute then will conk out. In a minute or two you can restart it, it runs for 15 seconds and conks out again. This will be an awesome car for someone who has time and patience to play with it and get it right - it's close. Body is excellent and paint is glassy smooth and shiny but has some flaws and spot repairs. I believe most of it is original due to being rubbed thin on some edges.
