'75 L48 t-top. Automatic with 70,000 miles. $16,000. Car is in Alexandria, VA.
Miles arent documented - guages were replaced with new guages by an owner in the 80's, last owner put stock back in... so speedometer reads 34k, and I was told by the previous owner that the car has about 70k miles. I trust him, but I guess I'll never know for sure.
That said, the car went through an engine inspection at a Vette shop on April 12 and received marks of 2/5 (1 being "perfect") in about 20 categories that the shop inspected. Mechanic said that the valve cover and oil pan gaskets were seeping and the power steering hose was rubbing.
Car is a driver - carpet (saddle), paint (white), guages, seats, windshield, side markers, chrome gascap, logos, & lettering, carb, rear end, brakes, starter, battery, alternator, exhaust, wiper motor, cooling system, a/c compressor, transmission, lamps, lenses, front spoiler and grill have all replaced or restored since 1999.
The car has been used to commute for the past year or so. I just bought the car 2 weeks ago but I believe I my price < value. Love the car and I'm not dying to get rid of it, but if I can turn it around for the above price I will.
Happy to send pics to those interested, also appreciate any feedback and/or questions anyone has. Thanks for you time.
Ok here's my 2 cents worth. Since I have a 75 ...... 1st off with undocumented miles wont help you get any money for a driver car. what a previous owner said wont hold water no matter how much you trust him. 2nd some vette shop inspection .....Unless they are NCRS judges their view doest matter much too me. There inspection and 4 bucks will buy you lunch at McD's . 3rd 16K is a lot for a driver rubber bumper car. Of course this is my opinnion and someone might come right in and buy it. I know that having a picture with this add would help there are folks on here that will host pix for you ......or you can upload to the photo gallery.
At $9K it is OK. There are plenty of driver quality plastic bumper cars around for less then $10K. I really don't think anyone will pay you more then $10K for that car. But you never know.......
I paid around 16K for a Matching Number chrome bumpered Vert with the Tank Sticker, Build Sheet and lots of documentation and verified mileage.

"If rebuilding Corvettes was easy everyone would have one"
I have purchased 1-81 $5795 nice shape. sold for $7700
2-75's restored one with new everything but could only get $6500(new paint and interior)
the 2nd one $5900 with new paint even.
1-76 $6500 sold 4 yrs later for $9000 with 80k miles
all cars were better than drivers, but nowhere near show car quality, all had 80k miles average.
