Hey guys give me a opinion...There is nothing wrong with this car... So why am I having such a hard time selling it ??
My opinion: 1980 models are not in real high demand right now, and the exterior color is probably not the most desired. However, it appears to be a nice, clean, well cared for car.
You'll find a buyer, just give it some extra time. After all, both you and Art purchased it!
I think that you're in the "no man's land" of pricing and desirability.
$10 k probably isn't all that unreasonable for a car that appears to be in pretty good shape. Unfortunately there are bazillions of 80 L48's (just slightly less than the bazillions of 81's like I have). There isn't all that much to set these appart for the vette enthusiast.
I think that above advice to be patient is right on the mark. This also isn't the best time of year to be selling a vette, especially in MI. First snow should be arriving there any day now shouldn't it?
The right buyer will come along eventually. In the mean time, enjoy it.
