Default F/S 77 L82 4spd Gymkhana match #'s

The Good:
1977 L82 4 speed Gymkhana car

Pretty rare option package of L82 4 speed and no A/C with 3.70 gears. Car was built to run.

Matching numbers original motor rebuilt in July 2002.
Replaced Clevite 77 bearings, felpro gaskets, roller rocker arms, ARP bolts, oil and fuel pumps.
Bores were ok so it just got cross hatch polished, not bored over.
Gymkhana rear suspension and 3.70 gears
New plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, coil.
Comp Hi6 Multi Spark system
Edelbrock Performer intake and carb (Have Q-jet and stock manifold)
Dart SRT Iron heads
Heddman Hedders into true duals and new Flowmaster mufflers with H pipe.
Factory alloy wheels with newer Firehawk tires 255/60/15.
Excellent interior with new red leather seat covers and padding, new door panels on both sides.
Power window regulator on pass side.
No A/C or tilt wheel, has nice red leather 3 spoke wheel as well as original ugly Vega wheel.
New front carpets and floor mats.
New alternator, thermostat, upper and lower hoses and motor mounts.
Mild comp cam gives a nice rumble but smooth idle and low end.
New rear spring
New master cyl and front SS calipers
Sport mirrors
One trailing arm rebuilt and both had bushings done.

The bad:
125k miles
Odometer does not turn. I have been in contact with last 2 owners and the car has not been driven more than 2000 miles since the rebuild. Best estimate is that the true mileage is still under 130k.
Reverse lights do not work, haven’t tried to fix that.

The Ugly
The paint needs a lot of TLC. The passenger side is not too bad but there is crazing on the fenders and the drivers side door has some peeling. I think the last paint job the car had was done poorly. This is the car’s only flaw and the reason the price is so good. Give this a good paint job and double the price. If you are into body work and can get the paint done at a reasonable price then you will have quite a car.

I have lots of paperwork, books, manuals, orig owners manual and a file of receipts totaling way more than the asking price of $8500. Email to lynntonyd@comcast.net please.

This picture is absolutely horrible. This is the worst picture I could find to show the poor paint on the drivers door. Just want to be up front about it. This car needs paint to be a real beauty.

If you get really desperate, let me know. I'm in Cumberland, RI. Paint scares me as it can be crazy expensive.
