WTB 69-72 4 speed

Looking to purchase in the next few months a 69-72 4 speed car. I don't want a project, don't mind tinkering, but all out resto's are out. I want to stay around the 15k range. Let me know if you have something that may match what I am looking for.

No one has one for sale right now within my price range? Am I asking too much for the price I can afford to pay? Anything that you know that is out there let me know. I have been viewing and posting on this site for the past two years and I am ready to become a member of the club, help me find one!

This is only one forum. Do a search on google and you will find over a dozen corvette for sale sites. (more actually)

I search everyone, everyday (sometimes twice a day).

Ebay has several for sale as well.

I have a '69 427/390 numbers matching convertible, 4 speed manual. I have been going back and forth about selling the car and still have not made up my mind (I now have three kids and don't have the time to drive it).

The car is a driver. Mechanically, it is perfect - never had any problems (maintained by Rich Engelhardt - a legend in New York). The interior is definately used. It has '69 sidepipes, but those were not on the car when it left the factory. It has a modern radio (which fits into the radio holes - no cuts). The car is now black on saddle (originally green/saddle). This was an early '69 and I have the matching hardtop (which is actually a '68 - common to early '69s). The soft-top is in excellent condition. I've owned the car since 1992 and love it. I definately have mixed emotions, and still have not decided to actually sell. The car is stored an hour from NYC. I'd be looking for more than $15, but have not decided how much more. If you are really interested, let me know ekoes@optonline.com. I wouldn't be able to deal with this until April/May because of work.
