I have a '69 427/390 numbers matching convertible, 4 speed manual. I have been going back and forth about selling the car and still have not made up my mind (I now have three kids and don't have the time to drive it).
The car is a driver. Mechanically, it is perfect - never had any problems (maintained by Rich Engelhardt - a legend in New York). The interior is definately used. It has '69 sidepipes, but those were not on the car when it left the factory. It has a modern radio (which fits into the radio holes - no cuts). The car is now black on saddle (originally green/saddle). This was an early '69 and I have the matching hardtop (which is actually a '68 - common to early '69s). The soft-top is in excellent condition. I've owned the car since 1992 and love it. I definately have mixed emotions, and still have not decided to actually sell. The car is stored an hour from NYC. I'd be looking for more than $15, but have not decided how much more. If you are really interested, let me know
ekoes@optonline.com. I wouldn't be able to deal with this until April/May because of work.
