Wanted Correct color of seat and harness belts for a 72 Vette

Chevrolet J11 May 11, 1972 (this is the day the car was assembled) TRIM 412 Blue interior 979 Paint Targa blue paint My Seatbelts: GM. HAMILL. MODEL # C15.11E72 I need to replace the buckles, some previous owner of the Vette grinded off the seatbelt Pins, can you help me with this? Also I need the Shoulder straps can you match the color of my seatbelts. CLICK or copy the above link please This is what I came up with on the INTERNET. 1972 Corvette's Seat and shoulder belts matched interior colors except for the blue interior which received darker blue belts. WHAT I'm trying to figure out but no luck so far was what was the color of the seat belts and Harness belts for a 1972 Corvette COUPE with the paint Code: Chevrolet J11 May 11, 1972 (this is the day the car was assembled) TRIM 412 Blue interior 979 Paint Targa blue paint So far no luck from anyone. Welcome, I too have a 72 in Targa Blue.

First, you will probably have better luck with this post in the "general discussion" forum area (as opposed this "for sale" area).

Interior code 412 is blue vynil. Your seats, carpet, dash, and even seat belts should all be blue.

Did these cars come standard with Shoulder Harnesses?
If yes then the color of the seat belts and Shoulder Harnesses would be a darker blue? WHo has photos of the darker blue belts?

Shoulder belts were an option in 1972 (mine has them as well). Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the blue belts up close.
