Interesting Avatars - whats your story?
Mine isn't all that interesting, a pic of Ruby, my 1976 Coupe.
I've seen some funny ones, some cool ones etc, what is the story with your avatar? Even seen some military, some overseas, etc. I think they're almost as fun as reading all the posts!

Go to UserCP in the menu bar above, and then select "edit Avatar". You'll have to upload a correctly sized pic.

Mine is just a print ad for a 1970.
Before that, I had a picture of the Vette in Corvette Summer, which is one of the most ridiculous-looking Vettes. I thought it made a funny Avator, as my car is all stock.

Le Mans Master
Mine just tries to display my present lack of progress.
Missing in the avatar are the exhaust installed. Next ... gas tank, then the body.
Oh yeah ... imagine the chassis with a silver tarp and a light coating of snow.

The easiest program I have found to resize photos is by Microsoft and it is a downloadable file that will resize any photo on your harddrive to any size you tell it to resize it too.
Try this link it should start the down load.
Image Resizer
Or this link will take you to the Microsoft PowerToys webpage scroll down and get the Image Resizer. It works great IMO.
Microsoft Powertoys
Once you download the software, just right click on any picture on your harddrive and click on Resize Picture. There will be a popup window that asks what size you want to make the photo, it will also have an advanced button. Click on the advanced button. Then highlight customized size, tell the software what size you want the photo and then OK. You will then have a custom sized photo in the same folder of the original. Ta-da. Piece of cake. Give it a shot.
There are also some other neat power toys to play with.

My old bike, it wasn't good for anything except wheelies and straight line blasts, then the clutch started slipping and it wasn't good for anything except killing mosquitoes. Joe

My avatar is just an old black vette that I have setting out in the garage.
