OT.....any you guys want a Gmail account?
I just got 4 more.

All Gone..........I gave as I recieved the emails. sorry to the two guys that i missed. If i get more i will post. To the guys that got. you should be getting 4 invites each....please share with other Members.

Can't we just sign up for our own gmail account? I don't understand "giving away" email accounts? Do you have to pay for gmail or something? 1 gig of space is HUGE!

It's free, but they're still in beta testing so "just anybody" can't sign up. You have to be invited by a current member. There are a few things that it does differently that I think are really cool. There are no folders. Only labels, which you can use to sort any messages. Then, messages are shown as conversations, so you have a list of all messages back and forth between a particular person (as a converstion). I've been using it for a month or so now and I really like it.
I have 8 invites to give away as well. Just send one of us your first and last name and e-mail address and we can send the invite.

Note I got mine last week and if you want to align it to your microsoft outlook and view all your accounts thru outlook you first need to download Microsoft service pack three and make sure your incoming is set at port 465 and outbound at 995 (see instructions for aligning with mail carrier)
