Just test-fitted the Vette on the trailer in my garage.. and it fits... with about 1.5 inches clearance front and rear...

Very nice Olivier.

I bought a truck this year with hopes of getting a trailor to take my vette to the track with. There's no way that would fit in my garage

Nice when it fits in the garage. I store my boat in a garage and it has 6 inches to spare without the trailer, so I put it on blocks. Now you don't have to worry about anything breaking.

It's a 16 ft. trailer. The total length is about 21 feet...

Looks good, I see now of your need for the length to fit the garage.

The new drivetrain changes you are doing will really make your car a lot quicker and stronger. I'm interested in seeing the new times. j

1.5" looks too close. i have 48'x24' garage it would fit even better in. it looks good 1.5" might as well be 10' as long as it fits.

I can't wait to put the car on the track as soon as the new setup is in.. If I'm lucky - I'll have it ready by late January...

Olivier,
How did you get the '68 up there? Guess with no motor nor tranny it must be light. Did you push it?

The street on the side of the road is going downhill a little bit.. I put the truck with the trailer there and then pushed the Vette on the trailer.. My dad helped me to push the car on the trailer...

It looks good......

The width of Corvettes make them fit real close on 8 ft. wide trailers, and you have to be careful not to scrub the wheels on the edge rail.

I bought a nice electric winch from Sams Wholesale for less than $100 that makes it easy when they are not running.

By the looks of that first picture, O, you better hope that your new solid-axle/wheel-tubs/big-slick project will still 'fit' between the fender-wells......

Once had a Blazer with over-sized wheels/tires 'try' to get on my trailer:
it wasn't pretty.....

There should't be a problem.. I actually will have the trame trimmes so that the slicks will fit under the fenders...
