Default Kickdown cable adjustment

Anyone know how to adjust the transmission kickdown cable on a 77? I changed out the manifold and the cable bracket now sits more forward and needs adjustment to work.

If I can remember without the manual in front of me, and assuming you have a stock kick down cable, there is a way to lift or push down on a tab on the manifold side of the cable at the same time have a friend depress the gas peddle to the floor, release. At the same time check to make sure your primaries on the carb are fully opened at wot at the gas peddle. That would be a starting point, see how it shifts, adjust looser for a delayed kickdown and tighter for a quicker kickdown (all in relation to the gas peddle).

Hope this help, somewhat.
