rear body mounts.....blew out
well,
i had to replace the rea body mounts and the brackets and i went to untighten the bolt.....couldn't do it with a rachet so i get the 'big dogg" impact wrench out....... at first it had a rough time but finally it gave way......well, i blew out a circle in the fiberglass and that is it.... the bracket fell off in pieces cause it was rusted..... i think i can install the new bracket with some heavy duty bolts/or screws and use some epoxy to bond the metal to fiberglass.... i stripped the coating off of the bracket to make sure i get a good bond..... anyone see a problem with this procedure?
