Default The $2,000,000 C3.....

Just waiting for the '68 bashers to say how crappy the '68 model year was. That's quite a chunk of change.

I wonder if it's really the original car
Maybe restored, looks like new. Maybe a clone.

For $2mil I'm sure it's real. Anyone spending that kind of $$$ on a car will want adequate documentation.

I like that setup on the instrument cluster and console...somewhat modern and very cool.

While it is a beautiful car and I love the roll cage, well actually how tucked away it is I would doubt 2 million dollars.
The highest confirmed price for a corvette that I read about was 1 1/4 million for a I believe Grand sport. The rarest corvette ever. Only 5 or 6 existed. They were small blocks in the 600 plus horsepower range.

OK - $2mil and the seller lives in a very average neighborhood where they have garbage cans on the driveways??? Call me skeptical...

The car is very cool though if it is original.

I too wondered how somebody in a neighborhood was selling a $2M car. Not what I would call a "very average" neighborhood though. Those are some fair sized houses. Wonder if he will deliver for the full $2M?

I would personally rather have the GT40 Lemans winner.

Although beggers can't be choosers so I will take the vette.

I like the headlights too. Why can't someone make a kit like that instead of those damned inset rectangular ones?

Maybe Redvetracer can shed some light on this car.

Wonder why all the L-88 racer's of that era were all convertibles?

I think Guildstrand still sells those headlights. ($$) Rolling Thunder bought a set a while ago.
