Are the factory alloys much lighter than the steel rally wheels? Looking for an "justification/advantage" to by a set....

If you have never lifted and alloy wheel without a tire on it you will not believe how light they are

--and vice versa--have you ever lifted a rally steel wheel and seen how heavy they are!?! I had factory OEM alloy on my 80 model. I did not appreciate how light they were and easy to handle until I got a set of OEM steel rally wheels on my 73.

The alloy wheels i just took off my 80 weigh about 17.5 lbs ea with center cap.
