Looks good in the sellers pics. You'll have to post more asap. I'd say it looks worth the price. Besides you can never have to many toys.

Looks nice, but no feedback and no engine shots..... I'll think good thoughts for you.

Well as long as the frame and birdcage are good, I think it was a great deal! Certainly will only go up in value, and it appears to need ALOT less work than your other two.

So how's it feel to own 3 vettes?

Good Luck w/the new toy!

Well it's only been a little while. Perhaps he's not home and maybe the e-mail server is acting up. Don't sweat it until your sure you have a reason too.

And as an interesting side note. I just sold a car tonight on eBay so I understand your concern in completing the deal. Got rid of my 67 Camaro so it's time to go looking for a new toy to keep the 75 vette company.

Good luck getting together w/the seller.

Looks like a good deal! But you'll have to get rid of that trailer hitch...

Looks like a great car for the price, I just hope you aren't concerned with originallity. From the pics, the passenger dash is incorrect, and the rear panel around the license plate. And I'd be a little worried that there were no engine pics and you can't get a hold of the seller.
I hope it works out good for you and it looks like a very nice car from what we can see.

Not bad at all for a chrome bumper 4 speed coupe.

Congrats

good luck,

About two years ago, I won in the same fashon. I drove from NY to upper Mass, to get my new toy. The person I talked to and the picture were very nice. When I got there, what a supprise did I get. It was a POS. I did take it for a ride, and ran out of gas.

about a year later I got my 71 coupe, NOM it's a 3. I also got mine from EBAY $8500.00 This was diffrent, when I called the guy about the vette, he said which one? That made me feel a little better. When I went to look at her and give a deposit, this guy had about 30 cars all 70's.
My story turned out good, hope your does also

congrats on you winning that car!!! Good Luck finishing the deal! I won my car from E-Bay no one bid on the car so I watched it till the end and talked to the seller on the phone lots!! Well I waited till the last 2 minuts and bid on the car - there was no reserve or other bidders yet so I got it for the starting price $5500.00 I too was refreshing every second until the auction was over. It went very smoothly as I paid for my car through PayPal and then the title was overnighted to me. The car was in FL and I am in MD, buy a car sight unseen was really tough for my hubby as he is a mechinic. Once I had the title I went to the MVA and took care of the paperwork and got tags. In the meantime I had the car shipped from FL to me in MD. I couldn't be happier!!!

I may be wrong but with the 6500 redline tach it must have been a BB solid cam car. I will be interested in what you find in regards to rear sway bar and springs. Good luck and congrats. Bill.

Congradulations on your find. It's a nice looking car from the pics.

If you want it returned to origional NOM you'll have to also lose the Stingray Emblems. Change out the rear valance, passenger dash pad, and emergency brake housing.

Price is very reasonable also for a Chrome bumper car in Cali.

Again congradulations.

Oh as a side note, the redline on the tach is 6000 which would have been the 327 SB not the 427. Most likely the 300HP/327 base model.

Regards,
Heli

I looked again and I am pretty sure that is a 6500 rpm redline and I don't think any 68 small blocks red lined at 6500.

Your right about the RL being 6500. My mistake. The 68 SB 350/327 in the garage here has a RL of 6500. The 69 BB my buddy has has a RL of 5600 or so.

Looks pretty nice. Even if it DOES need some work, the price is right. I think the driver's seat was swapped with the passenger seat.

I learn something new everyday. I was not aware any hydraulic cammed engines had a 6500 rpm redline. My 69 which originally was an L71 had a 6500 redline. I think the old 65 and earlier solid cammed small blocks had a 6500 redline. Was the 327/350 horse motor hydraulic cammed?
