Paint - Yellow vs. White
Ok, I finally got to the point where my '73 is ready for paint. I dropped it off at the shop tonight with the intention of having it painted Millenium Yellow. Well, now that's it is down to the wire, I'm having second thoughts. Millenium Yellow is sort of a darker yellow and I'm not sure how much it will show imperfections in the body/paint. I know it will be nothing like black, but should I change to a brighter yellow or even to white? My wife says white is boring, and her and some of her friends convinced me to go yellow. I think it will look great yellow, but I'm worried about the final outcome. The guy said they will be priming and block sanding, but I'm not exactly paying for a super expensive paint job. He will be using urethane primer and DuPont Chroma system BC/CC, so at least it should be good paint and last a good long while. Any opinions?

Yellow?
My own preferences (Solid colors only)- Red then Black, white, British racing green, primer, then mud then finally yellow... But My sister loves yellow, so what ever gets the girls!

I guess if it can't be red, my next choice would be yellow. Yellow 72 is a prime example of a beautiful vette. Rod

If you don't want white, yellow is good. However, you will find every bug in town is attracted to your car. I don't think the different shades of yellow will matter much for showing bodywork. Joe

71 Sunflower yellow here:
People are drawn to my yellow Vette at car shows like a "Moth to a flame." If you do go with yellow, make sure to get the right shade of yellow. Some shades of yellow are while others are
