I would probably buy 2 or 4 Bilstein shocks if they were to go on sale. Probably would not buy them soon otherwise.

I'd say rear steel spring as I might be replacing mine soon... we'll see.

BTW.. Thanks Tony, for the help last week on the phone and the A-arm shafts. Got 'em yesterday.... look great!

And it always will leak even when it's new. Go with STEEROIDS.

VBP is awesome!!! I have their upper & lower control arms, front mono spring, rear dual-mount spring, smart struts, off-set trailing arm, 4 Carrera shocks. I did buy a control valve and steering cylinder from them and eventually ( 6 months) they leak. I'm just driving now without power steering until I buy a STEEROIDS set-up.

The only gripe I "had" with VBP is before I had ordered my Carrera shocks from them I asked them what part # the shocks where and they would only give me VBP part # not Carrera's part #. So I had to buy one shock from them ($99.95) to get the part # off the box to order the SAME EXACT shock from Jeg's for $44.95. And then got charged a 20% restocking fee for returning that shock.

I vote for Bilsteins since I need four more. Just installed the four I had on the 71 since it came with a composite spring and had Sensitracs on the front and no-name shocks on the rear. Already have converted all 8 calipers to O-Rings and already have adjustable struts on the 71 and a brand new pair still awaiting to go on the 78.

lol, i think that is that reason they have a restocking fee. At any rate, I think the complete front monospring setup would be nice. They normally are quite pricey but seem to pretty trick.

I will probably be purchasing the performance plus system and offset trailing arms this winter. Would be a bonus for them to be on sale

You guys are giving me great feedback on this, thanks ! Keep those votes rolling in. The top 3 that were voted on from each generation will be discounted in our next sale.

I am just about ready to buy the Performance Plus System for my project. Still have a little more frame work to do yet.... I will be ready to buy it this Fall.

I've got the Billsteins for the front on order already and will order the rear after I'm finished with the control arms, etc, so motivated self interest, shocks!!
