Sorry I am going to back off from this. A mate of mine here in UK has offered me a pair of GTS perfect condition at a very good price. I will come at you for the brackets though.

Mark70, we will sell just the seat mounts. Since you already have the seats installed I assume you only need the brackets and not the sliders. The brackets sell for $51 per seat. They lower the seat about 1.5 inches.

Thanks! Yes I have the brackets and sliders, so I'd only need to get new brackets. Do you have a part # for the brackets? Also, I'd like to get a fire extinguisher bracket for the passenger's side (C3-6882P), and I was wondering if it worked with your new seat brackets. Thanks for the info!

A couple of month ago i called corbeau industries about the gts11 seats for my 78 and they toll me that it was not the best choice for a corvette because they were having some call from corvette owners that they sit too high and it was too tight betwin the door and the console.I was very sad cause i did like the shape of those seats and was ready to pay the 1700$ can$ to have them in oyster white. So i turn mysef and bought a pair of fiero seats they fits just like the corvette ones.

Speeddirect redisigned the tracks and mounting brackets to give a ride heigth that is the same as stock c3 seats. I think they also shave the seat bottoms a bit.

Quinn_Seipp, I'll put you on the list. Yes we can get Corbeau harnesses. The 3" 5 point strap in harness is compatible with the Shark Bar. They sell for $149 each and they are available in black, red and purple. Our standard harness that we sell for the Shark Bar is from Pyrotect and a cam lock 5 point sells for $152 and the pro cam lock sells for $172. We also offer a latch and link harness that sells for $83 (standard) and $98 (pro version). The pyrotects are available in black, red and blue.

Graemeinvette, no problem. Just let us know when you need the brackets.

Sharky Guam, 71stingraybigblock and still-learning, I'll add you to the list.

Guru_4_hire, maybe next time.

Corve77e, the GTS II isn't available in dark brown as a standard color. It can be ordered at a custom color but the resulting custom charges apply.

Mark70, I'll get you a part number for the bracket kit as soon as I can. Yes, the extinguisher bracket works with the seat brackets.

Do you know if the shark bar is available for a 73 yet? I know they were working on one for the earlier sharks?

It isn't available yet but it's in the works so stay tuned.

Corve77e, I added you to the list.

It looks like we will officially start the GP in another day or so. I will let everyone know what they need to do to place their order at that time.

I'm very interested assuming I can get the GTSII that will _match_ my '69 saddle interior. Getting the color right is paramount, and I don't mind the extra $$ if it can be done. I'm also interested in vinyl or leather vs. cloth.

thanks.

Hmm, any idea if the brackets and sliders from these seats would fit C5 Z06 seats? We still haven't mounted my seats in the car and I only have the passenger side manual bracket for mine. If it could be done with a little modification, I'd be interested in picking up a set. I'm not sure if seats follow a standard bolt pattern or whatever.

Any idea? I could measure my seat to see if it would work or not, if I have to.

The brackets that came on them, of course, won't work without cutting into the tub. Do you have installation instructions available for the Corbeaus so I could see what I'm in for?

I would love to get those seats for my car but with it being down to its bare frame IÂ’m better off buying the suspension rebuild kit instead of a pair of seats. Will you keep the mounts in stock after the GP? if so I might look at the GTS2 seats later when I get to the interior

WA 2 FST, custom leather is $435 per seat (over the base price) and you send a sample of the color you want to match and they will match it exactly.

phungus, it may be possible to modify our brackets to fit the C5 seats. Here is a photo of the floor mount. My guess is that there is enough material there to bolt the C5 seat to it and then bolt the mount to the car. If you have a photo of the bottom of the C5 seat and some dimensions then post them or email them to me.

brew'69, such a dilema. No problem, we will be stocking the mounts and seats from now on. So give us a call when you are ready.
