just a quick post to show off my "new" baby, plus the "old girl". BTW, we're also taking suggestions for names. the girlfriend doesn't like the '81 being called the "old girl", and "maggie" has already been taken for the '01. more pics at my homepage!

yeah, i agree. fortunately, the owner kept the factory lights and they will be going back in once i get the brass cogs to replace the nylon ones (no sense putting them back in and having trouble with the motors in a couple years) and i need to have some scratches buffed out of the covers.
also, the wheels are all wrong. supposedly, the wheels he had on the car were stolen while the car was at the dealership between the time i agreed the car and the when i actually picked it up a couple weeks later. supposedly, the dealership's insurance will be paying to replace them. i'm still waiting. *tap foot*
