I just read this topic in the C-1 & 2 forum, and was curious about our forum. Well it would be impossible to own a C-3 older than myself, as I was born in 67, but I do own a 65 Impala SS 396 California car... ( got from orig. owner... never restored, all original but starting to show its age, a dent in pass. rear quarter) and I have a 67 Camaro... not sure off hand if its older than me or not, but now I'm gonna look and find out, and a "REALLY" rough 49 5 window chevy pick-up for the possible day that I get around to taking it on. It was a freebie to me from a friend when his dad died. Well, look forward to hearing about your oldies.... or from you "young-uns".

I think there are quite a few young-uns here. Im 20 and have a 69. Just a few years older then me. On my 14th birthday I got a 69 mustang that me and my dad worked on and fixed up. I recently traded it for the vette though.

Thats cool.... I got my 1st car when I was 15... a 65 Imala SS 327... and my dad taught me as we completely restored it.. it was my 1st 65 SS, totalled it a couple years later in a head-on, got my present 65 while in the Air Force stationed in California, then bought another 65 Impala SS 409 with factory air, but was minus the motor.... kept it a while, but sold it when I needed some cash... been kicking myself ever since.

I would love to have a Vette that is pre 1958!

I think the 57 Vette is cool looking. I really don't think I will be able to afford a drivable C1, it would have to be a project car that needs a whole lot of work.

I am 26. I also had a 65 Impala SS396 in high school. My first Vette was a 70 vert. Current Vette is a 71 coupe.
