Cruise-In 7 Car Show Winner
70 rebuild update photos It's Done!! Well almost!!
Well I finished only a week behind my self imposed deadline due to a bad tranny. I had to remove the muncie, and put another in. Also had to change the clutch fork ball stud to a longer one. I have her tuned up and have went on several 30 mile trips to check it out. Drove it with the top down for the first time since rebuild this last Sat. I fell in love again with summer and a rag top!!
About all I have left is a couple small interior fixes, and to get a couple caps to plug access holes in the fire wall.
So here it is:
Rechromed side pipes on and the first tops down run since rebuild. Car was still dirty from setting, But it was to nice to drive with the top down.
Here's the engine bay. It's dusty as hel from having the hood open so long!
The new interior. The first time I drove it, I must have ate about a pound of fiberglass dust from the vents!!
Well here it is yesterday after another buff job, and installation of the emblems. No those aren't big gaps in the doors and hood, they just aren't closed all the way.

congrats....I didnt have the time to do a restoration, so I bought a survivor, but I envy and admire your labor of love. Something you will be proud of for a long, long time!!!!Beautiful job, and beautiful car!!

Looks great. You are going to be ready for the Cruise In. Are you going to take the C3 or C4 to the Cruise In. I may ride up for a day, I don't know just yet.
