Larry, I called the guy up when I was looking for alternative solutions to my Project RamJet Hood clearance dilemma. He told me that the dimensions and design on the hood are the same as the aftermarket L-88 hood that Ecklers sells. Which by the way, was were I bought the one I had. It does not have more hood clearance than the standard L-88 without the fresh air induction insert.

looks like the L-88 hoods that Eckler's sells. i believe theirs are 4 7/8" and around $550. other than that, don't know anything about this guy.

Bullshark, you have a nice collection of vettes there. Does the L-88 hood that ecklers sell have more clearance than this hood?

I bought this same hood for my 68 and found it to be a few inches short at the tips near the windshield ....He has since changed the ad to fit 73 and later model vettes....The hood seemed nice , but was much lighter then the original short BB hood that was on my car ....Metal reinforced brackets ...Grayhound will ship the long L88 style hoods for about 60 bucks , you drop it off they pick it up at the closest station ...I,ve shipped two hoods with them ...
