Door Bushings need replaced!
Hey their, my drivers side door bushings need replaced. My door is sitting WAY LOW!
Is this an easy process? And also where can I get the bushings at?

I've never done it, but that upper hinge looks nasty to get out of there. My hinges are marginal too. I recently took a short cut and just adjusted the hinges up a bit and its holding for now. That'll be next winters project.

what bushings, i took the hinges off a few days ago and noticed no bushings, and by the way the drivers side is a majior PITA to get off, thank god my interior has been out fopr a while... :thumbs:

New bushings and pins are cheap and available from Ecklers, Mid America etc. I replaced them on my car and replaced the hinge springs at the same time. The parts come with instructions. I removed the doors to do the job and it wasn't too difficult. I did this before I had the car painted.

It's a piece of cake! Especially with and air chisel with a punch attachment to knock the pin out. If you don't use and air chisel a long 1/4" pin punch will work. Just get a friend to help hold the door while you take the hinge pins out. I had both sides done in less than an hour.
