Oh Yeah! 17" Billet Rallye Wheels Arrived
Just received my shiny new 17" billet rallye wheels from http://www.wheelvintiques.com/index.html. They look awesome and really lightweight.
They will be mounted next week with a set of BFG 255/50/17 g-force tires all the way around. Can't wait to get the car on the road and see how it feels with bigger rubber. Should make a difference!

I am interested in seeing these mounted either. Make sure to post the pics when you get them on.

Those look very nice! Is that a chromed outer on a painted centre?
Another benefit is that they only weigh 21/22 lbs versus the all steel or all steel/chromed wheels. Which weight around 36 to 38 lbs.

No and yes. The wheels are all aluminum billet with the center painted so they resemble the original look.

I'd be very interested in the driving impression. I have 15 inch tires and would like to upgrade to 17 or 18.
Let us know your impression of the switch to bigger rubber.

I'm looking forward to seeing these on the car. If your trim rings clicked every rotation like mine did, you certainly won't miss them.
You will be so happy with the improved handling and feel of a 17" modern high performance tire, that any loss of suppleness won't be able to diminish the smile on your face. :yesnod:

Those look great! Is that a standard Corvette cap in the center? Will a 15" cap work with the 17's?
