Daniel sold his vette shortly after painting it, probably been close to 2 years now.
Orange 76 with BB, dang can't remember his name, was selling pulling his engine I think, last I saw

It seems to me that a lot of the people who used to be here are lurking more than posting nowadays. (I'm one of those:)) Merlin sold the car to a guy in my part of the country. I was over to see it last November. :cool: It's still in good hands with the new owner.

was wondering what happened with bence and merlin...
sad to hear merlin sold it, but its nice to know its still in good hands.

Last I heard Monty sold his Vette for a twin BB boat. Mounatinmotor? Who knows. I gave up emailing him about a year ago.

Although not many people knew me here anyway, I'd just like to say, "I'm still here!"

I'm more of a lurker now, but I used to post a lot more. With it being winter in central NY there aren't many things to say about my Vette, other than it's covered and sitting in my driveway (my garage is being used for other projects at the moment). But within the month I'll have it back in and we'll finish up the fine sanding and get it ready for paint. After paint I'll reassemble the interior and then it's pretty much finished. The engine is running great so far (we built a 383, SCAT crank, forged rods and pistons, Dart Pro 1 heads), but it still needs a little fine tuning.

Sorry my picture doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know of a good host?

Yeah.....got my '68 vert in 1998.....then a '98 coupe in 1999 and joined the forum......sold my '98 last October.....now I'll be hangin' out in the C3 section for a few years more.....and more...and more....! :lol:

he is at CAC...went to see him last week...the car is simply awesome...there are no words to desrcibe the flares he used...this will be, bar none, the nicest Corvette you will ever see... :thumbs:
