O/T-It's Valentine's Day-What Did You Get for Your Corvette?
I got nothing. But I am cooking up a nice supper for the Wife (she's doing overtime at work) and a bottle of French red wine is ready to go. The birch is in the fireplace and burning very well. The flowers and the card are in place. If there is any relevance to this thread it lies in the fact that she has supported me for many years in my Corvette hobby without protest. So do something nice for your spouse this evening! And I say that for female Corvette drivers/owners as well.

My car gets nothing. I bought my wife her favorite chocolates, she also bought me a box of chocolates. We have been married for 35 years and last month we passed 39 years since our first date.
She hasn't changed. She is still as nice as ever. Always pleasant to be around.

Sounds great! In the movie theatres of today bring your ear plugs. But the buttered popcorn is a real pleasure!

Some original 1970 GM documentation.......small envelope used by dealers to put key blanks in, and a '70 corvette consumer information booklet. Two small items but like hens teeth to find. That means $$$$$.

Nice! The earrings and roses are very traditional but very much appreciated gifts. I went with mums this year.

Got new actuator seals and installed them so now the headlights work. :thumbs: I just felt bad cause it took away from her lines with the headlights up all the time.

Hasn't your sweetie ever asked for money when she forgot hers? Her vacuum acuator is connected to our wallets.
The Mrs and I had a very nice dinner which I cooked. I broiled up some scallops with garlic butter and lime juice.
Tuesday is her birthday. I guess I'll be cooking again.

Took out the aftermarket 7-leaf spring, getting ready to put in original 9-leaf spring. I couldn't stand the hard ride anymore.
