DO you use a regular car carrier or is their some alternative?

I used SouthEastern Freight It cost me $82.00 to have a frame shipped from VA beach to Central FL.

Your's was probably in a crate - different from shipping a "rolling" frame.

Personally for the distance involved I'd take a bus and rent a flatbed, drive a car and rent a flatbed, etc. Not that far really. That way you get to inspect everything before you load it up..... Road trips are what make life interesting!!

Ken it was sitting on a pallet but not in a crate. A roller would cost more I aggree.
