the title says it all...
where is the best place?

i have been talking with Lars about this, he has looked at my engine specs and has recomeded this carb for me...

one question...is this carb a dual feed?
summit has them for $439.00...is this a good price?

The best I have seen is Summit or Jegs.

I did a google search on Demon carbs a while back and most places were about the same price. There's a guy on ebay that includes a free fuel line kit with his. Seco (local) has the same prices as Summit but would have to pay sales tax. I'm thinking about buying one after my ROD 6 install next week. I haven't decided yet from whom. If you find a super deal somewhere let me know! :cheers:

Bought mine locally cuz I was in a hurry, and also to support the last of the local speed shops. Bought the one for my Suburban from Summit, same price as local but no sales tax.
Hard to beat summit for price, and service is good too.

I bought mine at a local spped shop too, same price as summot but had sales tax. It does help support your local guys though. I'm glad they are around for times when I just need something small and don't want to have to wait for it

Try and buy it locally. Support your speed shop whenever you can. I got my Holley from my local speed shop. I went in there and listened to the price they gave me and then told them I would pay $x (which was summit price + shipping + $30). They didn't even hesitate. I walked out with an 850 DP.

In addition to the carb, you need inlet fitting kit part number BGI-140020 (summit part number) for about $44.
If you want me to set the whole thing up for you, have Summit drop ship it to me and I'll do all the adjustments and test run it so it's a turn-key operation for you.

I bought mine over a year ago in july when Summit puts out the discount code. It saved me 50 dollars.
