Just keeping my 96 lumina sedan and my wifes 96 jeep cherokee is enough. My other hobbi is music. I have a 1963 Fender P-Bass and a 1978 Rickenbacker 4001 that is in pieces.

I have my "other" vette. lol. I also have an 83 cougar that I use for rally racing. As an actual project I have a 1929 ford model A roadster that I have slowly been fixing up. It really turns the old ladies heads.

Re: Do you have any other project cars besides your Vette? (Van Steel)
I have a 82 camaro that i gutted and changed into a 90 iroc-z show car racecar. It has a 1970 chevelle 350 with 11 1/2 to 1 pistons 486 lift cam, 350 tci trans,373 gears, shaved door handles, pin on hood, supertrapps. I orginally built it for a showcar and now the paint is older and not perfect i just drive it for fun. It is fun to drive a fast car.

Have a 1969 COPO 9561/9737 Camaro that is going through a restoration... A buddy's restoration shop out in the Pittsburgh area is handling the actual work (they are probably one of the premier Camaro restorers in the country), but chasing down parts for it keeps me busy. I'm not a huge fan of doing bodywork on metal cars... Not to mention my current Corvette restoration so this arrangement works out well.
This is a photo of the car taken in 1971-1972. It has an aftermarket set of wheels (it should have a set of 15" diameter rally wheels as part of the COPO 9737 package) and a rear spoiler which was added, but is otherwise "as delivered" in 1969.
This is where the car stood about a month ago (it's the one in gray primer)... It is now at the paint shop for prep work.
Hopefully, it will be completed around this time next year... Should be a really neat car when it's done.
Regards,

Re: Do you have any other project cars besides your Vette? (Rowdy Rat)
Besides rebuilding the power steering system and a rear end overhaul on the 71 vette. I will be replacing and cutting out all the rust panels on my 75 camaro, i`ve had for the last 20 years. It sat outside the old house for a long while, where we only had a 1 car garage and the vette was in it. Camaro runs great 350 with 30 over, 350/350 cam, lt-1 intake and 750 holly. also got a factory B&M 400 tranny with 3.70 gears. Man that sucker moves. hope to have all the body stuff done by this summer. Should be COOL to have them both out! Happy Hoildays Guys

I thought everyone had other projects. Currently working on 1952 Chevy 1 ton panel, 1972 International Scout II, and the closest one to being done is the 1964 Chevy II.

I have always been into vintage Mustangs. Have a 65 Coupe (you can see it in the picture below), a 68 Coupe that belongs to my son and am currently in the process of a complete makeover on a 66 Mustang Conv. It was orginally a 6 cyl car and was a total rust case. IT is getting new frame rails font and back and new floors. Will be a 347 4-speed when done.

Just about all I own are projects.
Here's my current (and pathetic) list:
old Nissan pickup truck ... somewhere out in my 5 acres of woods, converting to rope-tow ski lift
1981 Mustang 5l 5sp Ttops ... hasn't moved since I bought the house
1988 Mercury Grand Marquis ... destined to be donated to fire dept for 'practice'
1989 Chevy Blazer 4WD ... my snow plow
1989 Buick Park Ave ... 256k miles, recent body resto, driven 60 miles daily
1998 Chevy Tahoe LT 4WD ... wife's truck, only replace water pump ... so far
(2) 1979 Kawasaki 440 Drifter skimobiles ... one is complete
1970+1975 vette ... soon to be a 1972.5
LMAO ... at night, there are usually 7 vehicles sitting in my driveway.

Next up is to pull the interior and install sound deadener and heat barrier. Then a 700R4 would be nice too.
