Sorry about the size of the pictures. It was my first time creating a web site and I didn't know how far 10 megs would stretch. I will make the pictures bigger when I update the site. Thanks

Anthony,
Your web page provides alot of motivation. I'm close to the sandblast stage. Did you do all of your blasting in one step? Approx. how many hours were required to blast the frame?

Very nice. I luv them LT-1's. Nuthin' like that solid lifter, screamin' small block sound. I'm curious what the original color was that the painter steered you away from? I do like the color it was when you got the car but agree with you that the body mods had to go.
My buddy has a '72 LT-1 coupe. One of the last ones made. It also has a factory 4.11 rear end which is very rare for that year.
For what it's worth check out http://www.corvetteforum.net/c3/lemansblue68
I've made a lot of progress since. The website's in big time need of some updating.
Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum.

Hi Jim, It took me about 3-4 hours with a pretty powerfull compressor. I did it in the morning on a saturday and painted it that afternoon, I didn't want it to sit very long without any paint on it. I didn't use any primer, just a Satin Chassis Black automotive paint. The results were excellent! Best of luck with your project

I enjoyed your site, it brought back some fond memories of my car. I would love to see the updated version. The original color of my car was "Targa Blue" the car had been painted when I bought it so the color in the pictures is not the original color. It is now painted "Cobalt Blue" a 2003 color, alot brighter than original. Looks awesome! I will take some pictures when I get it home from the paint shop. Thank you for the Welcome and we'll see ya around.
