Default 350 Turbo Hydramatic Question

My '80 model is nearly bone stock. If I'm not mistaken, the automatic is a 350-C Turbo Hyrdramatic "lock-up converter". Is this correct? What is the maximum horsepower range, to safely use this stock transmission? And what is the RPM stall?

Thanks,

Old Black Chevy

i think the stock stall is around 1200, the 350-c is a good tranny but i wouldnt put much more than a manifold and headers on it before you added a shift kit - dave
