Default What years used the Borg Warner T-10???

Can't seem to find a pic of the back up light switch mounting on the T-10, so I'll have to buy the AIM for one of those years. My 72 has a BW and I want to mount the switch.
Thanks Guys
Eddie

I think your asking the wrong folks ... I haven't yet found out when t-10 usage started, but the transition from t-10's to muncie was during the '63 model year. Perhaps the guys on the C1/C2 would be more knowledgable.

Which leads to another question for ya ... when where backup lights ( therefore a mounting plate ) even available on Vetts ???

The Borg-Warner transmissions started around Feb/March of '74 through 1981, as far as I am aware of. May have been slightly earlier in '74, maybe slightly later, but I'm close.

I believe the T10's were used inthe 57-63 and the Super T10 were used in late 74-81? I have a 75 with an M-20 Super T-10 (2.64 1st gear).

T10's were used until 1962. In 1963 Muncies were used and continued until 1973 or 74 when they were replaced by Super T-10's.

I think if you look at Dr. Rebuild's site you will see a pretty good drawing. It's not a real complicated setup.
