Trying the great Zaino
OK, Some of you here have twisted my arm long and hard-UNCLE!
I have placed my order for the #2 and #5 Zaino products, expected delivery date is 7/30/03. I hope this stuff works after all the praise it has received here, and "it ain't cheap" either.
For those of you that are currently using the above two Zaino products, if you have any tips for it's use and applications, I am all ears. :skep:

Works great on dark colored cars. I gave up on it because my cars are silver and white. :skep:

If your paint is in good condition, I think you'll like it.
Did you get the clay bar and the Z-1? I would recommend following the application directions on the Website to the letter.

I'd recommend the ZFX additive over using Z-1.
ZFX saves the Z-1 step, lets you to go with multiple coats without a curing period and dries much faster.
Also apply thin as possible.

Re: Trying the great Zaino (69er)
I have been using Zaino for the last 2 summers, but don't think i'll order it again. It's not any better than Wizards, Mothers, or Meguirs, and the latter 3 are available locally, no mail ordering. If Zaino were over the counter somewhere near here I might use it, although I'm still not sure on that. I used Wizards before Zaino and will probably go back to it. Not that there is anything wrong with Zaino, it works great, I just don't feel it to be superior.

Use the z-6 spray enhancer on the applicator pad before you apply the polish. It will make is spread easier and not soak into the pad as much. Thin coats, and I would definitely clay bar prior to the first coat. You will like the results.

Re: Trying the great Zaino (GREGG-73)
Zainos the best.................I showed my car this weekend (got a 2nd in C3 class) and had more people ask me how I got the car so shiney. I never hide that I use Zaino, but people always ask if they think it really makes a difference; right after they complemented me on the shine. It reminds of the guy who walked by my house and asked how I got my lawn so nice. I told him everything I do, then he tells me has heard different.....????? When I learn someones secret I don't argue it, I emulate it...but that's just me. The closest I have found to Zaino is probably Zymol, but it's still not as good.

Re: Trying the great Zaino (GREGG-73)
Is it really that good? I just bought an '82 Silver & Dark Claret shark and want to wax it up. The shine isn't bad right now, but I want to really fix it up. I don't know how to tell if it has been treated w/ Zaino, or regular wax. I don't see any of the typical wax paste dry spots in the nooks and crannies.

Re: Trying the great Zaino (isosceles)
You know I had heard so much about the Zaino clay bar here, I ordered it through Ecklers, knowing it couldnt be air freighted to UK. For 9 weeks I waited patiently, I then queried my order to be told by Ecklers that they had cancelled it because they are not allowed to export it  Back to the usual UK polishes
