Thats what I thought would be a fun little run, though I feel kinda bad raining on Marks plans, a downtown cruise could be a lot of fun, but with the problems mentioned not sure it would work for so many cars. BTW, I did one run with the GTech, on the highway. I used 3600LBS, but also had my cousin in the car with me and he weights in at about 160 ~ 170LBS so not sure if I guessed a good weight. My RWHP hit 195.

For those who worry about their cars not be able to make it with a start at the bottom of Yonge St, I suggest that we gather on Yonge St. going North, starting at Hwy 401 and all the way North to Simcoe, with pit-stop at my place for "refreshments" in Richmond Hill

1. Dwayne try 3900 lbs, your car must be at least 3550 itself, it also takes awhile to figure out how to get the best launch with these things, ask Flav - i sure as heck didn't last fall. Mine arrived today but I have no power to the lighter, again ask Flav and the nice occifer Barney Fife.

2. Jack great idea for a pitstop at your place on the way up to Dwayne's humble abode, I did say in an earlier post that I painted a half-moon on our front door after m last visit there.

Well the way things are shaping up I doubt I will be able to make a ''cruise'' on the 9th.

Y'all just decide on what ya want to do.

Sorry for interrupting your plans.

No problem Dwayne. I'll arrange a smaller group for a Yonge Street cruise some other time, with those who live south of the 401 and aren't afraid of the loud sounds and bright lights of the big city!!

has nothing to do with being afraid as most of us have spent more time downtown over the years than we care to remember and Yonge Street is definately not Woodward. :yesnod:

So why don't we all start from the lake and make our way up north.... It may add some extra km to the cruise, but so what?/// I think it's safe to say we all like driving our vettes....

I would suggest Start at the bottom and go North!

Bill.

Okay, executive decision here. I say start in Toronto, say at Chris's place (Pygamasam) and head North, staying off the highways, up to lake Simcoe, then to Bradford for the corn roast / BBQ. I have to get Cyndi 76 in on this thread. Let her sort this out. :jester
