While taking the center console out, I found a 1977 penny that looked brand new. It was hiding under the insulation. COINcidence?

When I got my vette, there were two larger, old speakers mounted in the back. They were screwed into a board and the board just sat behind the wheel wells. When I removed them, I found a few items stuffed in the corner. I found a car washing kit, two wine glasses (uncracked), and a SHOE. No, not a pair of shoes, just ONE!

When I was restoring my '68, I noticed that anything dropped down into the spaces on each side of the windshield wiper area would be pretty much inaccessible forever. Then I had an idea and tied a strong magnet to a string and came up with a really old open end wrench. Not exactly a score, but kind of interesting. I tossed it, watch it be worth money now...

i find mass amounts of crazy stuff in cars, seeing how i work as a mechanic.

1. A brand new pair of snap on long nose pliers in the frame of a blazer.

2. When doing a heater core replace on a new avalanche i found a unopened pack of Cool cigerettes tangled in a mess of wires. It was obviously a non-smoker car, so i assume it was some factory workers loss.

3. A squirrel nest (complete with squirrel) in the air box of an 02 1500.

4. A brown bag with a bottle of cheap gin in the spare tire carrier of my mom's used blazer.

5. A mint condition 1978 dec issue of playboy underneath the passenger seat of a 64 vette. Did you know guys used to get in the pictorials too...?

6. A box of unused condoms that expired about 10 years ago behind the glove compartment of a 84 gmc pickup.

7. A death threat letter addressed to somone named raul that was never mailed underneath the carpet of my 84 lesabre. Funny....cause i bought it off a little old lady who owned it since it was new.

8. 84 blazer i found a large rust hole in the floor had been plugged with a golf ball and some jb weld.

9. An empty .22 shell casing that was jammed in place of the wiper fuse. Gee...how come i keep burning up wiper motors?

Finally heres the most interesting and strange thing i ever found: 89 camaro rs, the stripped upper reciever to an Ar-15 assault rifle rattling around in the heating vents.

I just changed a dash in a 99 buick century last wed. I found a money envelope containing $125.00. It had been there for a while. Took it to my GM in charge of bodyshop. We will give it back to her when she comes to pick her car up. She bought the car brand new, so somebody must have got into some trouble for missing money.

I found $17.00(in 5's and ones) + change in the glovebox. My car was on a used car lot owned by the friend of the seller, a broker. I'm surprised no one saw it and scarfed it up. They must've put it in there for my tolls on the way home! :D
