Default Broken horn button - any idea how to fix?

OK, any idea how to fix one of these boogers once they get to this point?

BTW, went to Lonestar Park in Grand Prairie for the races (horse) and fireworks - what an awesome show!

Saw several C5's and their owners in the valet. I wondered if any of them were members of this forum. Absolutely NO C3's in valet...!! I guess we really are a rare breed.

I have never had my horn off, but if that ring is metal, and it is held on by plastic tabs, then you could remelt them with a soldiering iron.

If not then maybe some JB weld.

Go to the local hobby shop and get some nylon screws that are the correct length. That's the best fix.

I had the same thing happen to me while I was autocrossing. Get yourself some JB weld, you'll probably never have to worryv about it happening again ;) .

As I recall about $10 - 15 for the kit to fix it. I got mine from http://www.tld-corvette.com.
