Holy Shi@. just about knocked the car into the garage wall.
I've been posting problems with my electrical system. I found a box on the car with a rubber push button on it and pushed it, the car was in reverse and fired and about went into a wall in the garage. The box is mounted on the passenger side andhas a rubber cover and I pushed it. Any of you guys have that? I think it's a breaker. Should I take her out of gear and try it again? Damn, I need to take a picture of this thing.
Actually, I tried it again out of gear, I don't think if fired, perhaps my mallory module is toast. I wonder if the Mallory module toasting could cause everything else to be out?

Makes it easier to work on the engine by yourself. Don't need anyone to bump it over for you to set the points or get it to TDC, and you can start it and kill it as needed as you work without having to climb in and out of the car.

There is a seatbelt interlock override switch mounted to the passenger side firewall, but it shouldn't do what you described. Its a small metal box with a button sticking out of it.
I couldn't see your pics.

It does sound like the previous owner wired in a remote starter switch that bypasses the neutral safety switch. When using these things disconnect the coil wire to make sure there is no fire.
